Our beginner private and group piano students will have the opportunity to learn about and perform different styles of music, including jazz, classical and pop. It is our goal that our students gain an appreciation for music of all styles.

AGES & SKILL LEVELS

We offer private and group piano lessons for beginners ages 5 and up. Whether in private or group piano lessons, our beginner piano students will learn the fundamentals of music and piano technique in a fun and enjoyable environment.

PROGRAM DETAILS

The Kawai School of Music offers beginning private or group piano lessons for students of all ages – preschool through adult. We encourage all beginning students to take beginning group piano lessons to establish a solid foundation for continued progress and learning. Is Learning In Group Or Private Lessons Better For Beginners?

We do offer both private and group beginner piano lessons, however, we do encourage beginning students to start in a group class environment. Group classes are fun and interactive offering each student valuable interaction.

HOW DO IT KNOW IF MY CHILD IS READY FOR LESSONS?

If your child demonstrates any of the following, s/he may be ready for piano lessons: has your child expressed desire to play piano? Is your child eager to learn new things? Does you child have a long attention span? Does your child move to music, sing often, and/or gravitate toward people making or performing music?
